PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Pulse Milwaukee Line was created to provide passengers with the latest technology along a streamlined route. The new route will run between Jefferson Park Transit Center in Chicago and Golf Mill Mall in Niles, Illinois.
Station highlights include: raised boarding platform with snowmelt system; full ADA-compliancy; new shelter with overhead heating and lighting; vertical pylon marker; landscaping; bicycle racks; and electronic signage with real-time bus tracking.
Delta provided electrical engineering for lighting, real-time bus signage, and snowmelt systems. The electrical load for the snowmelt systems was addressed when coordinating with ComEd for the new electric service at each station. Structural engineering design was provided for the station marker pylon foundation.
